How we work
We believe a home should reflect the people who live within it. Our philosophy is grounded in an immersive, holistic approach to designing interiors – taking time to get to know the client, their family, and the finest details of their personal requirements.
Guided by the philosophy that design is inherently personal, we work closely with our clients and take a holistic approach to distilling their stories into beautiful interiors. Bespoke elegance is the hallmark of a JHR Interiors environment – whether we’re overseeing a full townhouse renovation or working with developers to specify a newbuild.
As a multidisciplinary studio, we understand the value of flexibility. We take care of every aspect of a design project – from project managing a complete renovation, to furnishing a newbuild to a tight timeframe.
Through creating mood boards and sketches, we evolve the client’s requirements into a considered design scheme that enables them to envisage the finished environment. Central to this process is identifying colour palettes, materials and textures – these are the details that draw the eye and bring attention to the present moment.
Once the concept is approved, we produce meticulous drawings and step-by-step timelines that inform every aspect of the design process. This is where interiors fully come to life in two-dimensional form, with every last detail considered, measured and specified in collaboration with the client.
Delivery and Completion
Inspiration is drawn from a broad range of sources before we choose the artworks, accessories and furniture that will feature in the space. We acquire these pieces from a network of trusted artisans and suppliers. Each is tailored down to the very finest details to suit individual tastes and complement the overall scheme. This stage also involves working with subcontractors to tender the build of interior architecture aspects.
Our team oversees the design process from concept to completion. We coordinate, curate and supervise our chosen artisans, craftspeople and subcontractors to ensure the highest quality of workmanship.
